Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore students' perceptions of the mathematics learning process, particularly regarding teachers' instructional methods, learning facilities, and classroom learning activities. This qualitative study was conducted at the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education of Santo Antonio, Oe-Cusse, involving eight students and two teachers as participants. The findings indicate that students had positive perceptions of the mathematics learning process. They reported that teachers explained concepts clearly, provided examples and exercises, encouraged questions, and offered support when learning difficulties arose. Students also perceived the teaching methods as effective in promoting understanding and classroom participation. Furthermore, the learning facilities, including clean classrooms, adequate furniture, and teaching aids, were considered supportive of learning. Overall, students viewed the mathematics learning process positively, suggesting that effective instructional practices and adequate learning facilities contributed to a supportive and engaging learning environment.
